More than likely, when you purchased your home, your attorney made sure you declared a Homestead. Please be aware that it may be time for you to declare a Homestead again, only this time as an elderly homeowner. Did you know that there are more benefits for the elderly who declare a Homestead ? If you or a joint owner of your home are 62 years or older, you or they may declare an elderly Homestead.
